With training in Biomedical Engineering and Financial Engineering, her background spans research at Columbia University, big tech at Meta, and finance at Société Générale. She previously served as Zone 1 Vice Chair of the National Society of Black Engineers and was featured by Influential Women Magazine as a trailblazer.

Executives and senior leaders representing Microsoft, Google, AWS, American Express, ACT Engineers, and the NAACP praised Vanguard students’ technical abilities, professionalism, and career readiness—and stated that they would hire them. Advisors connected to the Presidential Palace of Somaliland also attended Vanguard’s graduation, and student-developed recommendations have been elevated into formal proposals for potential implementation.
Ashley’s mission is to connect talent with the skills, mentorship, visibility, and opportunities needed to create meaningful impact.
Our mission is to ensure every student has access to opportunities that prepare them not just for college—but for leadership, innovation, and meaningful careers.
